nezbo Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 PLease can some one help i am trying to do a join and i am not to sure how to get it to work in php here is my PHP code $sql = "SELECT *.person, DATE_FORMAT(FROM_UNIXTIME(timeStampStart.dental_holidayrequest),'%W %b %Y') as newStime FROM person, dental_holidayrequest WHERE CallID.person = staffMember.dental_holidayrequest AND (timeStampStart.dental_holidayrequest > '$nowTime' || timeStampEnd.dental_holidayrequest > '$nowTime') GROUP BY newStime ORDER BY timeStampStart"; and i keep geting this error You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '.person, DATE_FORMAT(FROM_UNIXTIME(timeStampStart.dental_holidayrequest),'%W %b ' at line 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
