Taxa
Similarly to this website, what is the best way of achieving tab buttons at the bottom of the page allowing only so many results to be shown on the page, and clicking on the tabs at the bottom to reveal different results. Similarly to Google when you have large search results and you have the opportunity to display the first 30 or so, and click on "2" to read a second page of results, and so on. haku
It's called pagination. You can find lots of tutorials on how to do it on google. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/108945-tabs-retrieved-information/#findComment-558937 Share on other sites
Taxa
Can you please give me links to a particularly good, and trustworthy one? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/108945-tabs-retrieved-information/#findComment-558955 Share on other sites
haku
Try two or three then write one that matches what you want. Once you can wrap your head around the concept of how it works, it's not actually that hard. .josh
All of the pagination tutorials pretty much have the same code. The only real difference is in the author's preference of certain interchangeable functions, etc.. and perhaps a feature or two thrown in there for good measure (like making the columns clickable sortby links, etc...). There really isn't a whole lot to pagination...
