CGI exe scripts

Hey there, I am doing a course on C and am on the CGI scripts section.

I have WAMP set up that I do PHP dev in. I tried moving the compiled exe apps to the cgi-bin dir:

"C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.2.8\cgi-bin"

But go to this from my browser it just asks me to download the exe.

I am guessing it has something to do with the httpd.conf, I had a look and seen that I have the module "cgi_module" activated.

Any ideas?
