dedicatedmanager
I'm starting to work with PHP sessions. I understand how they work, but I found a page which states there is a bug in IE, such that you need to have this line, if you want forms to fill back in:header("Cache-control: private");-- from this site: [a href=\"http://www.phpfreaks.com/tutorials/41/1.php\" target=\"_blank\"]http://www.phpfreaks.com/tutorials/41/1.php[/a]Are there any other major browser bugs that could cause problems? Is there anything major that programmers like to add when they call session_start()? -- In other words do sessions work well out of the box, or are there work-arounds that need to be handled up front? thanks Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/10989-php-sessions/ Share on other sites
poirot
It works well with Opera, IE 6, IE 5.5 and Mozilla 1.0 / 1.5 here.I just add the Cache-control header, nothing else. And I think it's enough.
