XP Install / 16 bit windows subsystem

when trying to install mysql on XP home, i click on setup.exe file and nothing happens so i rightclicked and selected run-as..

 

i got the error

16 bit windows subsystem

a file needed for installation could not be created or written to. Make sure the directory path exists and there is enought hard disk space

 

if i click ignore nothing happens, so i click cancel

 

i have plenty of hdd space and the directory does exist

 

please help, i am a n00b when it comes to this, my apache server and php works fine
