Sending SMS

Hi,

I am making a script which will send sms to a mobile through GSM modem.

I search Google and find some good scripts there,some need 2 PCs to works.Some need to open URL to send

sms.

Now what i want is to send sms,but the script will run by cron in the back end selecting some data from database.which i will do.

But how can i send it without opening URL.

Is any body know any script,which is not dependent on others things.

Just find some simple script,but same as to open URL.
