So, for some reason when someone puts in .2 for 2 cents, it thinks its 20 cents.

 

mysql> select FORMAT(.4,2) from types where username=\'12345\';

+--------------+

| FORMAT(.4,2) |

+--------------+

| 0.40 |

 

The field is set for decimal. I\'m out of ideas.

 

This doesn\'t help me when it comes to money.

I am not quiet clear with what you want

 

say if the user enter .2 instead of 20 you can write a script

 

which will identify them and once done

 

.2 * 10 = 20

 

?? I think I am making a wild guess.
