rundmw
Greetings! I have been using MySQL pretty successfuly for a while, so I\'m a bit embarrassed to be asking this, but I\'ve got one that\'s a mystery to me. Basic HTML form posting to a PHP script which inserts data into the db. After insertion, the script then queries the database for all the records, fills an array, and dumps. But the insert is not yet reflected. Only after another page access do the newly inserted records show. I know that it\'s not an HTTP page caching issue, since my debug statements after the insertion shows that the records are not yet there. There is no transaction (commit/rolback) in effect. Tables are MyISAM. Any ideas? Is there something going on behind the veil in which closing the process or the connection commits the data? Thanks and regards, Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/1134-insert-not-reflected-until-subsequent-page-requet/ Share on other sites
