See when I put the data on a text area and make line changes everything looks fine, but when i query the database and echo the text it appears as a string with no line change. Dissonance Posted October 9, 2003 Share Posted October 9, 2003 I\'m having a bit of trouble understanding you, so correct me if I\'m wrong. You have an HTML form with a text field or text area. When you type a bunch of junk into it and submit the form, it dumps the contents of the text field or area into the database. When you retrieve the data from the database, however, everything appears as a one, very long line of text no matter how many times you edit it?
