perloe
I have a situation where I have a fairly standard registration form that users fill out. Now here's what I can't figure out: when the form is submitted, I need to be able to record the form info into a database on my site AND also call a URL of another site that will pass the email to them. Right now the form uses POST to submit. How can I then take some of the posted info, incorporate that into a special URL (something like http://www.somesite.com?email=XXXX?name=XXXX), and then use either GET or POST to send to that other site? Does this make sense? I've tried all kinds of javascript tricks like popping open a new window that calls the URL and then closes itself right away but even that isn't reliable. Any ideas? Thanks! ??? Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/113807-double-form-posting/ Share on other sites
wildteen88
Have a look into cURL perhaps. cURL allows this. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/113807-double-form-posting/#findComment-584830 Share on other sites
perloe
I did some reading on this and it looks like cURL requires a package to be installed, and unfortunately I don't have control over the server.
