Problem instlaling php-5.2.6. "Activation failed for custom /etc/apache2/httpd.c

Recommended Posts

apxs:Error: Activation failed for custom /etc/apache2/httpd.conf file..

apxs:Error: At least one `LoadModule' directive already has to exist.

Ubuntu's APache2 distribution uses the apache2.conf and leaves the httpd.conf empty.

Ive tried some google sugestions like creating a symbolic link from httpd.conf to apache2.conf and adding a LoadModule line in the httpd.conf.

Any other sugestions would be greatly appreciated.
