[SOLVED] Recognizing Hard Returns in MySQL?

SORRY!! I FIGURED IT OUT RIGHT AFTER I POSTED THIS!! But i'll leave it up for all who are confused about the same thing..

I have a query and it needs to split a value where there are hard returns... Now doing it with spaces is really easy... I have the entire code worked out here:

$querydl = "SELECT * FROM links";
$resultdl = mysql_query($querydl) or die("Couldn't execute query because: ".mysql_error());
$rowdl = mysql_fetch_assoc($resultdl);
$dl = split('/r', $rowdl['dl']);
foreach($dl as $value){

Does anyone know what the code is for a hard return? I've googled it plenty with no results...

Thanks in advance!

------> ANSWER: the code IS /r but my problem was I needed to put it in quotes instead of an apostrophe

FIXED: $dl = split("/r", $rowdl['dl']);
