xcmir
I have a php script that automaticly caches a users uploaded image for quick access and the files are saved with .img extensions. However until recently it has been working fine, but now we have been getting 404 errors. Even though the .img files are still being cached and we can see it via FTP(and we can download it off the server via FTP and open it) however when we try to access it via website URL, it returns 404 error. Heres a log: 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Connect www.URL.com:... 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Connect www.URL.com:80 success 2008-07-17 07:32:05 GET /cache/cache_50_1_1_imagesbrokengif.img HTTP/1.1 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Accept: */* 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Cache-Control: no-cache 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Connection: close 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Cookie: locale=en-US 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Host: www.URL.com 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Pragma: no-cache 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Referer: http://www.URL.com/cache 2008-07-17 07:32:05 User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; ) 2008-07-17 07:32:05 HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Content-Length: 1046 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Content-Type: text/html 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0 2008-07-17 07:32:05 X-Powered-By: ASP.NET 2008-07-17 07:32:05 X-Powered-By: PleskWin 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Date: Wed, 16 Jul 2008 23:32:12 GMT 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Connection: close 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Connectwww.URL.com:80... 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Connectwww.URL.com:80success 2008-07-17 07:32:05 GET /cache/cache_50_1_1_imagesbrokengif.img HTTP/1.1 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Accept: */* 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Cache-Control: no-cache 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Connection: close 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Cookie: locale=en-US 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Host: www.URL.com 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Pragma: no-cache 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Range: bytes=0- 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Referer: http://www.URL.com/cache 2008-07-17 07:32:05 User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; ) 2008-07-17 07:32:05 HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Content-Length: 1046 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Content-Type: text/html 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0 2008-07-17 07:32:05 X-Powered-By: ASP.NET 2008-07-17 07:32:05 X-Powered-By: PleskWin 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Date: Wed, 16 Jul 2008 23:32:12 GMT 2008-07-17 07:32:05 Connection: close 2008-07-17 07:32:07 File Not found I have contacted our hosting company and they cannot seem to figure out the problem, Has anyone got similar experiences or knows how to fix this, help much appretiated. l0ve2hat3
sounds like a permission issue.. check the file permissions to make sure php has access to them... or ask the hosting company to do so
