.htaccess to allow pointers to access css and js from parent domain?

Hi,

 

I have several domain pointers on my hosting account, and I would like those pointer domains (parentdomain.com/pointerdomain) to be able to access the css and javascript in the parent domain. Is this possible, or do I have to copy the css and js to all the pointers?

I've never had to deal with this scenario, so if I'm missing something that seems obvious to you, please at least suggest the keywords I should search on.
