Resizing a template to fit a around php script

I was wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction being very new to this.. I am using a template to give a site a make over. The problem that I have is on one page the content is very long, therefore when I add the html from the script in I am getting gaps on each side of the template itself.

Is there a command that will auto stretch the gifs height wise?

Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated
