snowman4839
I'm pretty knew to Apache but I know how to make a simple password so that it requires it when you try to access the site. I tried to make a password for a specific folder so that only that folder would be protected under this certain password and everything was going just fine and then when I had the .htaccess file in the folder, It won't show up in the listing of all of the files in the document root on the website. The only thing that's not letting it show up is the .htaccess file! Any suggestions? wildteen88
Apache will hide files that begin with .ht for security reasons. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/116632-htaccess-problem/#findComment-599687 Share on other sites
