phpbill
i'm not sure if i'm in the correct forum or not but my question is as follows: i'm new to this and trying to set up wampserver stack. all seems to be functioning but when i make a change to my source php file via notepad in the wamp\www\ivy subdirectory and then go to the wampserver icon and go to localhost (am using mozilla) and choose my source file, it seems to get an old file from a cache or something because it certainly is not getting the latest one that i've modified. i've stopped/started services and even re-loaded windows XP but still accessing the 'old' file. what is happening? thanks for any help. wildteen88
Try to clear your browsers cache, or try a hard refresh (Ctrl-F5). Make sure you have changed the changes to the correct file. wildteen88
Depends on the browser you use, I use Firefox, to clear the cache I go to Tools > Clear Private Data. On IE you go to Tools > Internet Options > Browsing History Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/117033-localhost-on-wampserver/#findComment-601974 Share on other sites
