Ok, I replaced it.

if( $num_rows  > 0 )
{

	$_SESSION['username'] = $username;
	//redirect
	$data = mysql_fetch_array($results);
	$company = $data['company'];
	echo "$company";
	header("Location: {$data['company']}.php");
}
else
{
	header("Location: login_error.htm");

}

and am getting these errors:

SELECT * FROM access WHERE username='terryf' and company = 'southern'

Notice: Undefined variable: results in /nfs/cust/4/45/65/556544/web/run_login_access.php on line 41

Well, this has gotten long and complicated (not for you all probably) for me.

The greatly appreciated person that was helping me is no longer online, so

I am going to hit solved since my initial question was solved, and work on this

a while on my own.

Thanks to all who contributed.
