[SOLVED] Need help on css problem

Recommended Posts

I got a question about overruling specific ccs commands.

Let me explain my problem.

Code:

td.hoofdtitel{

 padding-left:5px;

 font-weight:bold;

 height:18px;

 width:100%;

 background-color:#FFE9C1;

}

In my css - file, see above, u see i use a style template for a column with class "hoofdtitel".

Now i got 1 of those columns that i wanna give a different width.

In my main file i just did this :

Code:

<td class="hoofdtitel" width="33%">Operators vroeg</td>

<td class="hoofdtitel" width="33%">Operators laat</td>

<td class="hoofdtitel" width="33%">Operators nacht</td>

So u notice i try to override the 100% width to the 33% width for each cel.

When i test this its not working !

Who can gimme some advice?

If you want to override one style with another, the one that will be overriding needs to be explicitly stated in css form within the element.

So in your case, take away the width= and put 'style="width:33%" ' though I can't promise you'll get the results you're looking for, this is the way to override something you've previously declared
