Link title attribute

What determines the width of the title attribute tooltip box? Is it possible to specify a width? The reason I'm asking is because I have some word wrapping going on which I don't want.

if you want a big tooltip then you have to create it by javascript or find any built in code...

Thanks, I thought that JavaScript would be the way to achieve this but I would have preferred to not use JS. Okay, JS it will have to be. Thanks
