newby_dude
Hi, Trying to get the max id in the table calender (Dutch for calendar) I get the following error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/bbakker1/www/ichthus/home_bericht_1.php on line 49 When I try to run the SQL in phpmyadmin it works fine. This is my code ------------------------------------------------------------- 46 //max id ophalen van de calender 47 $query_cal = "select max(id) from calender" 48 //gegevens binnenhalen 49 $result_cal = mysql_query($query_cal); 50 $ID_top_cal = mysql_fetch_assoc($result_cal); 51 52 echo $ID_top_cal['ID']; ------------------------------------------------------------- The same setup has worked just fine for other pages I have. Hope to hear from you all. Greetz Bas B.

cooldude832
obviously you don't know what a semi colon is which makes me amazed you can code anything $query_cal = "select max(id) from calender";
newby_dude
Hi, Well I had figured that out already. I don't know all specific characters in English, do you know them in Dutch? But, let's not be impolite, Thank's anyway Greetz B.
