Help inserting image background in search box

I don't see what you mean, but I think you may be looking to replace your:

 

<input type="submit">

with

 

<input name="button name" type="image" src="image.src" alt="image alt text" />

If you look at digg.com , they have an image for their search button, so that's what I'm assuming what you mean.

The actual code that doenst goes over the search button etc..

the blue image behind the text box and search button is just a background image of the form element

    background-image: url(path/filename.ext);

}
