Hello,

First of all please follow this page on famous w3schools, http://www.w3schools.com/xml/note.php . So that returns XML data right?

The code used by w3schools is this

<?php
header("Content-type: text/xml");
echo "<?xml version='1.0' encoding='ISO-8859-1'?>";
echo "<note>";
echo "<from>Jani</from>";
echo "<to>Tove</to>";
echo "<message>Remember me this weekend</message>";
echo "</note>";
?>

Now, I have exact same code on my server, including header("Content-type: text/xml"); here, http://azvaishnav.info/app/test.php

However, for me this returns an HTML page.

Any idea why?

I have been juggling on this simple issue sine long time. Any help would be extremely helpful.

Thank you,

thekdi

It is possible that your header() is not being sent due to prior content being output. Add the following two lines immediately after your first opening <?php tag -

ini_set ("display_errors", "1");
error_reporting(E_ALL);
