djazz
I noticed on my server, who has an AMD 64bit Opteron running 64bit ubuntu, when im running some php pages that take a lot of time (maybe 15 min to load! data and log analysis ) only one cpu is running on 100% and the other below 10%. IF I run another page again, then both cpus go to 100% Is it normal ? Why the cpu doesn't share the process of 1 php application to both cpus ? Is there a way to configure it ? Since im not running a server for many users, its not going to be faster to process logs if I upgrade to another system running a quad processor. thanks.
