Hello, I hope someone can help as this has had me stumped for the last week  ??? I need to do a few hundred 301 moved permanently redirects but all the urls that I need to redirect have a ? in them so it's not working, all the old and new urls are in this format:

Redirect 301 index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=588&Itemid=460 http://samesite/new/page

I've tried escaping the ?'s with a \ and even a / but it makes no difference, I've tried creating a query string for the ?'s but can't seem to get it too work.
