Help creating a Subdomain with code

is there a way i could use coding to create a subdomain with out having to do manual work,

i am creating a site that will allow users subdomains. but i don't want to manually create a new one everytime some one registers.

This works for me on my host (dreamhost), so you will have to talk to your host.

 

Your host will have to allow these things:

1. Wildcard DNS

2. .htaccess files
