Filtering online contact form...

Rottingham

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

I'm very unfamiliar with REGEX so I'm posting here for a little help. I have several online contact forms (bullseyes!) on a couple customer sites that doesn't do any filtering.

Lately, they have been targeted by automatic bots that post messages filled with stupid web addresses, like so:

deaconry stickle unsuperfluous southing sleeking rubble gallinaceae stuccoyer ifbtpg iwqmhpko http://aaxlxjsfqza.com wpicj jwqrdec http://lcmjdcs.com qyhnjal iwwrv http://uopvxyjo.com hqwgp iuoi http://fxhzxzkzn.com

What is an effective way to filter this? I can easily check for 'http://' and block that address, but that isn't effective.

Any ideas?
