[SOLVED] cannot GET special character in ajax url request...

hi everybody:

 

i made a search in ajax( php ,mysql, js, xml). it is works perfect on english site but in german site,  as soon as i enter the special charter it encoded so i think i need  to decode the url witch is called by js. request, so here is the js code

		theurl =escape(content);
		enurl= TestDecoding(theurl);

any idea how can be done?  ??? ??? ??? :'( :-\
