Include a file from a protected directory *SOLVED*

Hello,

I am trying to include a file in a password protected (.htaccess) folder. How do I do that?
I can only end up with an error (as expected):
"failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 401 Authorization Required"

Any ideas for this one?
