Interesting gdimage arc problem

Hey,

 

I'm having a bit of a conundrum.

 

I've been doing a fairly complex project recently which requires the use of arcs. That bit is no problem. I also need to find, however, the end point of the arc in terms of x and y coordinates so that I can perform a few more calculations on it... now, herein lies the issue. Is it at all possible to find the x,y point of the end of an arc, or do I need to find another way to draw an arc pixel by pixel?

 

So far my mind has just drawn up blanks as to how I might be able to do this... any hints or suggestions?
