FormMailer "From" Line Difficulty

I am attempting to change the "From" line in e-mails sent from a form so that the e-mail address is not broadcasted. However, when I have edited the line

 

"From: $replyemail\nReply-To: $replyemail");

 

to anything else, I get a default:

 

[mydomain]@megawebservers.com

 

I am sure there is a simple solution, but I have not located it. Has anyone any advice?
