proggR
Now that I finally have highspeed I figured I'd upgrade my Powermac G3 back up to 10.2.8 from 10.2. I can't install right to 10.2.8 but have found out thats normal and that I should install 10.2.6 first. The problem is when I do that it locks up on "Finding moved files" (the first thing it does) and just does nothing until it eventually closes installer. I figured I'd just take the long way and go through .1, .2, .3 ..etc, but got as far as installing 10.2.1 and can't find an upgrade to .2 unless I torrent the entire install disc. Anyone have any suggestions at all? I know its an older system but it still does what I need it to and now that I've got my network setup I want to use it as a simple file and music server. I also want 10.2.8 because any VNC server apps I've found are for 10.2.8 and up and I want to install one so I can just remote access it from my laptop instead of switching the monitor and keyboard and mouse into it all the time. Anyway. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/124644-really-old-mac-osx-upgrades-failing/ Share on other sites
