batch insert through SQL or CSV file?

Heyyas,

 

I have a list of 50,000 entries that I need to insert into my DB.

 

I can use Excel to turn the CSV into a line like this:

INSERT INTO 'table' ('field1','field2','field3','field4','field5','field6') VALUES('field1','field2','field3','field4','field5','field6');

 

I can copy / paste those into 500 .sql files, but I don't know how through PHP to process them, or call them?

 

My SQL file is sql1.sql, no access to cron or use a .bat

an alternative would be to not use excel. then you just use php to parse the csv then create a sql query and instert it into the database

Use CSV and LOAD DATA INFILE query.
