Hello, please help me to change the mysql date, its a 0000-00-00 but I want to change to dd-mm-yyyy.

you can chance the date out of your database to any form you like with the function: DATE_FORMAT

 

in your case:

 

$result = mysql_query("SELECT date, DATE_FORMAT(date, '%d-%m-%Y ') as date FROM table" )

You should be able to use

$result = mysql_query("SELECT DATE_FORMAT(date, '%d-%m-%Y ') as date FROM table" )

 

No need for the initial date column.

Thank you friends, the problem is, when Im inserting from the date_field into my db, if Im using dd/mm/yyyy its insert this only even doesnt insert the numbers 0000-00-00,is there any secction to change before inserting date?
