jug
Hi, Im halfway through an e-commerce project, where whenever i add something new i always do a cross-browser check to see if it still works in all 3 (ie, ff, safari/chrome). The latest thing i have added is a search div on the left and after do the usual browser check i have found that, for a change, ie is the only browser that does what i want. I am quite experienced and have tried everything in my knowledge but im either im being totally dumb or i need to do a bit of re-coding/styling. Any help or pointers would be appreciated. Basically on the home page you only have the search div and departments div on the left. When you click a department, its categories show up in another div below. In ie this works fine but for some reason in ff and safari a large gap appears before the 4 floated products. This happens again when you click on a category but is fine when a product is clicked. I hope youve followed this and if you need any more info or code snippets please let me know. The link to the site is below. http://shop.bw-design.co.uk Thanks in advance jug
jug
ignore the post above, ive made some progress and now its all the same in all 3 browsers, which is a start, but when you visit the link below youll see the new prob. Is there any way of making the two 'columns' of divs level up just under the logo. There must be a way using floats and clear. Any help would be very much appreciated. http://shop.bw-design.co.uk cheers jug
