SteveMT
Hi, im currently working on this site for a friend/client: http://customdc.co.uk/ I've just added the 'get a quote' button at the top left but i'd prefer it so it doesn't shift the rest of the site down, how do I do this? In IE6 I seem to having problems with the bottom div extending to its full height and it also stretches the border out too wide, does anyone know how to fix this? wildteen88
Wrap the HTML for your 'get a quote' banner in a div, eg

Then apply the following CSS: #quote-strip { position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; display: inline; } Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/127137-few-site-questions/#findComment-657679 Share on other sites
SteveMT
thanks wildteen! the quote banner seems to have inherited the top padding of the top div. do you know if it's possible to prevent this? http://customdc.co.uk/ Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/127137-few-site-questions/#findComment-658047 Share on other sites
