samona Posted October 6, 2008 Share Posted October 6, 2008 Hi all, I have a monitor that used to work perfectly and all of a sudden the colors were all weird. It was unusable. Then I restarted the computer and it worked. Anyone have any ideas why that problem occurred, or any reasons why it would have occurred? waynew Posted October 6, 2008 Share Posted October 6, 2008 Seen it happen a couple of times when a piece of software that was too heavy for the computer was installed and running. Could be a case of Windows (assuming it is) giving precedence to the most important aspects of your desktop enviornment and caring less for the visuals (which in one sense, aren't important). waynew Posted October 6, 2008 Share Posted October 6, 2008 Just check that your computer isn't running more than what it can handle and check to see if you have the RAM and Processing power outlined by the software vendors.
