Attach the onchange to each select field

The below code attaches the onchange to each input field:

function attachFormHandlers()
{
var form = document.getElementById('INSUP') 

if (document.getElementsByTagName)//make sure were on a newer browser
{
	var objInput = document.getElementsByTagName('input');
	for (var iCounter=0; iCounter<objInput.length; iCounter++)
	objInput[iCounter].onblur = function(){return validateMe(this);} //attach the onchange to each input field
}
form.onsubmit = function(){return validate();} //attach validate() to the form
}

 

What i want is for it is to attach the onchange to each select field (the select boxes) within the same code.

Could you explain a little more? How is this function called?

 

Have you tried changing the getElementsByTagName('input') to getElementsByTagName('select') and objInput[iCounter].onblur to objInput[iCounter].onchange?

it seems to work but still having some errors, ill keep trying.

 

this is an ajax project, when the .js is included, it attaches onblur to input boxes so that it can be used to test the input data.
