Coming from a background doing Lotus Domino web application development and Filemaker Pro application development, I'm looking for some kind of GUI tool that will allow me to throw together simple web enabled databases without doing much, if any coding up front other than field processing - for instance, calculate the value of a field based on another field at the time a page is saved, or loaded, or other conditions. It isn't that I don't want to learn PHP / MySql - I just want to be able to throw together quick useful applications when the ideas come to me, using open source software instead of proprietary software like Lotus Domino and FileMaker Pro.
