ivytony
I've installed Awstats correctly in the /var/www/html/awstats-6.8/wwwroot/ directory and it can be run by lighttpd, however I'm testing it on apache and it doesn't run. Instead it just shows the source code in the browser. I set this alias for awstats: Alias /awstats /var/www/html/awstats-6.8/wwwroot/ and this to allow CGI scripts in the awstats path: <Directory "/var/www/html/awstats-6.8/wwwroot/cgi-bin"> AllowOverride None Options +ExecCGI Order allow, deny Allow from all </Directory> I wonder what else I need to do to run cgi in the awstats installation path. thanks Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/128868-how-to-configure-apache-to-run-perl-in-varwwwhtml-directory/ Share on other sites
neogranas
How did you install it? What is the O/S you have on your server? Have you set the permissions on the perl script to 755? ivytony
now it's working. I added a cgi-script handler in the above <directory> tag thanks Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/128868-how-to-configure-apache-to-run-perl-in-varwwwhtml-directory/#findComment-668306 Share on other sites
