cordoprod Posted November 10, 2008 Share Posted November 10, 2008 Hi guys. This might be a little tricky to understand but i'll give it my best. I am developing a news system in php and mysql. What i want is to have a (e.g) folder called plugins and on my website people can download plugins that they can add to that folder and use plugins. That could be for example emoticons, and other things. But i don't know how to make a solution so people e.g could install these. any help? The Little Guy Posted November 10, 2008 Share Posted November 10, 2008 Have the user place the plugins into a folder called "plugins" on their server. On say an admin page, have it search the "plugins" folder for any PHP files, if it finds one, place an install link on the page, and they just follow the instructions to add the plugin to their site.
