the182guy
Hi all, I have installed PHP and Apache manually on a Windows Vista machine. Everything installed fine. I have added the PHP config rules to the httpd.conf and when I restart Apache I get an error (see screenshot). The error is basically saying that c:\php\php5apache2.dll does not exist but I have verified this and I can see it in Windows Explorer. The PHP rules I added to the httpd.conf are: ### PHP Configuration LoadModule php5_module "C:/php/php5apache2.dll" AddType application/x-httpd-php .php # configure the path to php.ini PHPIniDir "C:/php" I have tried uppercase, lowercase, even tried copying the file to c:\ and using that but it produces the same error. Also I am running the Apache restart utility as Administrator. Cheers!
the182guy
Problem solved. Changed the file to php5apache2_2.dll and it works. Even though php5apache2.dll does exist!
PFMaBiSmAd
You are using Apache2.2 (apparently from the error message). The php dll for that is php5apache2_2.dll not php5apache2.dll
