How do I do this? I tried to search but I couldn't find a suitable answer.

I have a website that has galleries and such and some of the pictures are stored on remote servers like photobucket etc. When I scale the pictures down, or show them in full I'd like to know their heights and widths.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Example only off getimagesize........

It in a array format as you can see...

Example only....

<?php

$image_size=getimagesize("http://homepages.cwi.nl/~steven/julian/choclet/cat.jpg");

print_R($image_size[3]);

?>

This is the only way i can see you alter the image size...

and showing the current changed array.......

pointless really just use width and height in the url .......

<?php

$image="http://homepages.cwi.nl/~steven/julian/choclet/cat.jpg";

$image_size=getimagesize($image);

$image_size[3]='width="100" height="100"';

PRINT_R($image_size);

echo "<img {$image_size[3]} src='$image'>";

echo"<br><br>";

$image="http://homepages.cwi.nl/~steven/julian/choclet/cat.jpg";

$image_size=getimagesize($image);

echo "<img src='$image />";

?>
