wildteen88
phpMyAdmin is a PHP script which is used for managing MySQL Databases. It is not a forum. In order to run a a forum you'll need to install a couple of things 1. A HTTP server, such as Apache -- http://httpd.apache.org 2. PHP itself - http://www.php.net. 3. A database, such as MySQL http://www.mysql.com. The easiest way to get the above three would be to download and install WAMP which will set up the AMP stack for you. Once installed open you browser and go to http://localhost All you need to do now is download a PHP forum. There are many forums available the two popular ones being SMF (what we use here) and phpBB. There are commercial forums available such as IPB and vBulletin Once you have downloaded a forum, make sure you extracted all files for the forum to C:/wamp/www/. You then access your forum by going to http://localhost
