After trying to reset globals in configuration.php file - I lost connection to database from site URL Can't get to my site now. http://www.foryoursites.com I get this error message: Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL Is it possible to reconnect to database after losing configuration.php file? Can anyone tell me how to work around this problem? I've been to PHP and MYSQL sites but haven't been able to find the answer to my particular dilema. cpanel version 11.23.6-STABLE PHP version 5.2.6 operating system Linux CMS Joomla 1.5 Apache version 1.3.41 (Unix) MYSQL version 5.0.51a-community Architecture i686 Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/135489-unable-to-connect-to-database/ Share on other sites
Mchl
What software was it? If it's Joomla you can most likely reinstall it to existing database (if you know the credentials that is... if not... I don't know... ask your hosting company to reset them for you) Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/135489-unable-to-connect-to-database/#findComment-705911 Share on other sites
