Fellow Freaks:

I am using this standard HTML form and script found on w3schools and I just get a blank for the output, any ideas:

<html>

<body>

<form action="upload_file.php" method="post"

enctype="multipart/form-data">

<label for="file">Filename:</label>

<input type="file" name="file" id="file" />

<br />

<input type="submit" name="submit" value="Submit" />

</form>

</body>

</html>

--------------------------------PHP Script------------

<?php

if ($_FILES["file"]["error"] > 0)

  {

  echo "Error: " . $_FILES["file"]["error"] . "<br />";

  }

else

  {

  echo "Upload: " . $_FILES["file"]["name"] . "<br />";

  echo "Type: " . $_FILES["file"]["type"] . "<br />";

  echo "Size: " . ($_FILES["file"]["size"] / 1024) . " Kb<br />";

  echo "Stored in: " . $_FILES["file"]["tmp_name"];

  }

?>

Try this

<?php

if (isset($_POST['action'])) {

$target_path = "uploads/";

$target_path = $target_path . basename( $_FILES['uploadedfile']['name']);

if(move_uploaded_file($_FILES['uploadedfile']['tmp_name'], $target_path)) {
    echo "The file ".  basename( $_FILES['uploadedfile']['name']).
    " has been uploaded";
} else{
    echo "There was an error uploading the file, please try again!";
}

} else {

?>
<form enctype="multipart/form-data" action="<?php $_SERVER['PHP_SELF']; ?>" method="POST">
<input type="hidden" name="MAX_FILE_SIZE" value="100000" />
Choose a file to upload: <input name="uploadedfile" type="file" /><br />
<input type="submit" value="Upload File" name="action" />
</form>

<?php
}
?>

All goes on 1 page
