I currently am creating with a friend and php based website with flash integergrated and saving data to a sql server, to do this we have started by using phpbb as our starting point and are building on it and tweaking from there. (Not a good idea? - we are open to suggestions) We are about to create an avatar generator: http://www.e-mercs.co.uk/forum/emicon_generator_preloader.swf (Work in progress, on creation of this post only clothing colours are working, example only) This will be put into all users profile settings so that they can create and edit their own avatars to be placed next to posts. We need a way to save this code onto the sql server and then retrieve it again in the posts (the code is generated by the avatar generator) Can anyone help us? PS I have no real PHP knowledge.
