speedy33417
I have a custom built gallery. I have pictures and videos posted on the site. I want people to be able to download the original pictures or video AVI files. If I just use a regular <a> tag it will open the file. How do I force a download prompt? Thanks. htmlstig
the only way i can think of is putting <FilesMatch "\.jpg$"> Header add Content-Disposition "Attachment" </FilesMatch> into the .htaccess file but im not sure if it will work for you as you are using a gallery but its worth a go Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/138687-download-file/#findComment-728334 Share on other sites
