crop an image before saving as a blob in mysql using imgareaselect

Hi peeps.

I had been searching for a solution that would allow image cropping prior to saving as a blob (I know blobs are frowned upon for image storage but it will only ever be 10 or so for the purpose of latest news articles)

Anyway, I found a solution using PHP & jquery image upload and crop by webmotionuk.co.uk featuring image area select by Michal Wojciechowski at  odyniec.net.

All works well. My request is that if anyone can spare the time to visit my work in progress to see if they can advise on my last problem.

I need to allow a user to edit an existing article - no need to edit the image/blob but to allow the uploading of a new image for cropping and saving if required.

visit motors4less.net/uploader.php and try to edit an existing article to see. I can post the PHP here if required but it is long. I am using the image upload script as a php includeon the uploader.php page.
