Xeoncross
I just finished a new type of site solely powered by web services, and as far as I can tell, the worlds first complete blog mashup. http://xeoncross.com Tumblr, Twitter, Flickr, Last.fm, Disqus, Delicious, Akismet, and more handle all the content on this site! I don’t use a CMS at all. This is the only example I know of a full blog system powered by the web - no database - just pure API goodness. Features advanced commenting, tumblerlogs, posts, pictures, links, quotes, videos, twitter updates, and more! I even used google to host the Mootools library that AJAXifed everything. So does anyone have any thoughts on a site like this? I am thinking of releasing it in a couple months after I have had my fun with it. Sound like something people could use? Oh ya, it also runs on my MicroMVC PHP system. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/139288-words-first-full-blog-system-mashup/ Share on other sites
dezkit
Why is the ajax_loader.gif not in the middle of the page, but slightly top right? Xeoncross
Why is the ajax_loader.gif not in the middle of the page, but slightly top right? It is centered - but the layout makes it look off. xtopolis
It looks very nice. -I think some improvements could be made to the "logo" xeoncross.com -The right column headers that have the red color for some parts doesn't make sense to me? Also the font is "alright" but looks a bit thin/squarish.. perhaps test different fonts or images. -loading.gif could be placed a bit lower so that it's not missed during page changes -looks similar on my iphone I'm fairly impressed. Also, what package are you using from 1and1 btw? Xeoncross
Also, what package are you using from 1and1 btw? Just the Home package. But at the moment the xeoncross site is on the basic dreamhost packaged. ($50 off link on my about page) Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/139288-words-first-full-blog-system-mashup/#findComment-731918 Share on other sites
